ELITE SPORTS  - AGES 10 - 13

This is a fun and challenging sports program with activities to keep campers engaged and to further develop and enhance hand-eye and foot-eye coordination, refine sport play and develop leadership, collaboration, communication, self-confidence, social and artistic skills.

Ball Sports 

Soccer, ball hockey, basketball, baseball, and volleyball 

Campers will participate in a variety of fun, skill-building, drills, and games. These sports help develop skills such as passing and catching, dribbling, throwing, hand-eye, and foot-eye coordination. Emphasis is placed upon teaching campers to be team players and developing good sportsmanship. 

 

Racquet Sports 

Tennis, Badminton, Squash and Ping Pong

These racquet sports are lots of fun! Campers will participate in a variety of drills and games to develop their skills at the various racquet sports. These sports help the development of skills such as hand-eye coordination, agility, precision, and power while building self-confidence, improving concentration, and promoting good sportsmanship.

 

Martial Arts

This unique program is an introduction to self-discipline and self-defense and is suitable for campers ages 8 - 13. Campers who participate in Martial Arts will learn a variety of stances, kicks, and punches, as well as other Martial Arts related activities. Martial Arts develops flexibility, endurance, and strength and encourages self-regulation and self-discipline.

Dance

Campers love to dance!! They have a chance to create, practice, and perform a routine choreography collaboratively with their dance instructor. At the end of each Friday, campers will perform their routine in front of their fellow campers.

Dance can increase creativity, flexibility, range of motion, physical strength, and stamina while encouraging teamwork and building self-esteem.

Creative Corner

Creative Crafts is offered daily. Campers will have a choice to unwind and explore their creative side. 

Activities include drawing, painting, origami, paper crafts, and much more! 

 

Special activities at Downsview Park

Parkour at the Monkey Vault

Campers will have the option to participate in Parkour at Monkey Vault located in Downsview Park.

Parkour includes an instructional session by parkour experts and gives campers an opportunity to run through the courses, explore their range of movements, and overcome obstacles!

MANDATORY PARKOUR WAIVER must be completed in order for campers to participate in this activity. 

Go Karting at K1 Speed

Age: Min. 8 years old

Height: minimum 48" inches  

This is a fun and thrilling activity for the racers at heart! Or just drive at your comfort level! Each camper drives an electric-powered kart and participates in a friendly race against their peers.

MANDATORY K1 SPEED WAIVER must be completed in order for campers to participate in this activity. 

Urban Squash Toronto

Campers will have lots of fun participating in safe drills and games in this unique high-powered sport. Squash emphasizes hand-eye coordination and skill in hitting a ball moving at great speed. Squash gives kids an intense workout, improving fitness and strength.
