Those in the know call us the summer day camp of choice in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) for kids and teenagers 4 – 14 years-old. 


Our facilities are in sizeable park spaces with state-of-the art indoor and outdoor play areas for particular activities or poor weather. It's the perfect place for kids this summer. Learn more!

  • Find Downsview Camp at The Hangar in Downsview Park. This is a favorite location for those living in or near North York and surrounding areas with some of Toronto's top sport and activity centers.

  • Find Cedarvale Camp at the Leo Baeck Day School in Cedarvale Park. This camp is a favorite location for campers living in the Cedarvale Park area and nearby North Forest Hill and South Forest Hill in Toronto.

Operating since 2003, Human Moves delivers creative and exercise-based programs for children and teens in Toronto and beyond. By design, our programs benefit your child’s body and mind.

We promote children's physical and social growth in safe, open spaces. As such, kids and youth thrive and build self-esteem in an encouraging and healthy environment.

Summer Campers play indoor and outdoor games

Children enjoy instruction in activities and games for a variety of fun summer camp programs. They learn to play and compete as individuals and as part of a team. A few of our camp activities include:

Where camp meets education

Kids learn and discover new things and untapped potential while making new friends at Human Moves. These are some reasons why over 80% of our participants are from referrals and other happy parents.

We are an Approved Toronto District School Board Educational Partner since 2013. We also run full-day physical education programs in the TDSB.

Participants play sports and games, promoting physical activity and social skills such as:

About your child’s health and safety

Attention Parents: We follow the Ministry of Health's COVID-19 Guidance for Summer Camps. Given the evolving nature of COVID-19, we update the guide as needed, ensuring every child's health and well-being.

We screen all counsellors and staff, including:

  • A police reference check with Vulnerable Sector Screening (VSS)

  • Interviews with a minimum of 2 reference checks

 
Human Moves Day Camp Covid-19 Policy (2022)

At Human Moves Day Camps, the safety of campers and their guardians, families and staff come first. As such, we adhere to public health guidelines for COVID-19 Ontario school and child care screening, including: 

 

  • Regular updates to health & safety requirements

  • Daily electronic or on arrival camper screening

  • Reporting probable cases of COVID-19

Summer Camp Registration & Refund Policies at Human Moves Day Camps

All camp deposits, less a service charge of $250 per camper, are refundable until May 15, 2022. Refunds on service charge camp fees are only possible when the Government disallows camps to run or shuts them down mid-season due to Covid-19. Camp fees are non-refundable after Sunday May 15, 2022.

 

Otherwise, requests to transfer children to alternate sessions of the same camp season without penalty are at the camp director’s discretion. Transfers depend on the availability of space and safety within each program.

 

Camp fees are not eligible for credit to other session once period starts.

 

Full payment is required by or before May 15 with Human Moves Day Camp to complete registration.  Late registrations after May 15 require full payment (if space is available).

 

Except for Government legislated closure cancellations after May 15 are not eligible for refund.

 

Summer camp fees apply to specific sessions and are not calculated on a day-to-day basis. We cannot offer refunds for days missed for reasons other than outlined above (Covid-19 quarantine). 

 

Requests for refund must be made in writing to the Camp Director. All approved refunds will be paid within 30 days after September 1, 2022.
