COVID-19 GUIDE
The safety of our campers, staff, and families are our top priority. Please take a moment to familiarise yourself with our policies and procedures Our protocols adhere to Toronto Public Health guidelines and have also grown out of case-studies of successful operations of summer day camps held during the summer, 2020.
Given the evolving landscape of COVID-19, we will continue to revisit and update this guide.

Daily Temperature check and screening for all staff and campers at the designated drop-off points or prior to entering our campsite.

Covid-19 awareness and prevention training of all staff.

Robust and frequent cleaning and sanitization of our campsite, including all high touch surfaces at each activity.

Sanitization standards and respiratory etiquette for all campers and staff.

Appropriate face mask or face shield to be worn by all campers and staff when physical distancing is not possible

Maximum of 15 people per group (including staff)

Each group will have their own private spot

Ensure physical distancing between groups

Campers remain with their designated group for the duration of the camp day.

Large gatherings will be avoided.

Minimizing the sharing of materials.

Designating ‘clean’ and ‘dirty’ bins, which will be used to ensure materials are cleaned between users.

Drop-off and pick-up will be staggered. A detailed plan regarding safe arrival will be communicated to you by late spring.

While we welcome you to see our camp in action, visitors will not be permitted to enter the building without making arrangements in advance through the camp office.

Staff and campers are not to come to camp if they are ill.

If a camper or staff begins to experience symptoms of COVID-19, they will be brought to a supervised isolation space.

If a camper or staff tests positive for COVID-19, we will follow the recommendations of Toronto Public Health, begin a deep-clean as directed, and investigate known points of contact. Toronto Public health is responsible for determining if an outbreak exists, declaring an outbreak, and providing direction for next steps.

FOOD POLICY
Depending upon participant interest and allowances under Covid-19 guidelines, a meal plan may be available (Nut Free and Kosher Style). We will be in touch in June to advise anyone who has indicated an interest in this option.
